Elevated Hostess: Lemon Zootini Cocktail

Whenever choosing to mix cannabis and alcohol, it's important to know your dosages, limits, to keep hydrated throughout, and just like when you consume separately, make sure there's some food to soak it all up. As long as you're using responsibly, this drink can be a lovely spring drink that lets all your senses loose.

We mentioned before that cannabis-infused tincture can be used in many recipes—this is one that we really are a bit foolish over!

  • 2 cups frozen vodka
Note: Don’t care to mix cannabis and alcohol? Skip this step, add more ice and stick to cannabis-infused alcohol tincture instead!
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 sugar
  • CBD or THC cannabis drops
Note: The original recipe calls for Zoots Premium Cannabis Infusions Lemon ZootDrops, but since this isn’t legally available in Canada yet, we made our own infused alcohol tincture instead. Keep it to 1 drop or 5mg per glass! You can also switch plain sugar for homemade cannabis-infused sugar.
  • Ice
  • Lemons for garnish

You’ll need

  • 1/2 cup
  • 1 cup
  • Cocktail shaker

  1. Shake vodka, lemon juice, and sugar in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Pour in 4 sugar rimmed martini glasses.
  3. Add one serving of cannabis drops to each drink, and garnish with lemon slice.

A quick drink that's sure to please and easy to customize with cannabis, alcohol, or both for your next get-together.
